TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro: Xtream Codes Login

This article walks through the login screen itself in the two most widely used players — TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro. Field names differ between apps, but the three details you need (username, password, server address) are always the same. Logging in with Xtream Codes API brings the movie and series archive and the TV guide (EPG) automatically, which is why we recommend it over M3U in both apps.

Where your login details come from

Your username, password, and server (portal) URL are sent to you after purchase, and the same details work for the 24-hour free trial. Keep these three pieces of information at hand while you follow the steps below; setup usually takes 3 to 5 minutes. Logging in with TiviMate

TiviMate is a common choice on Android phones, Android TV boxes, and Fire TV Stick.

1. On first launch the "Add playlist" screen appears automatically; otherwise go to Settings > Playlists > Add playlist.
2. Choose Xtream Codes as the playlist type — not "M3U Playlist" or "M3U URL".
3. Enter the server address (portal URL) with the http:// prefix, then your username and password.
4. Save; TiviMate downloads the categories and channel list.

The free version supports a single playlist, which is enough for one subscription; adding a second one requires the paid version.

Logging in with IPTV Smarters Pro

1. Open the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" on the login screen — not "Load your playlist or file URL M3U".
2. Give the connection any name; it is only shown on your own screen and is never sent anywhere.
3. Enter your username, password, and the server URL you received at purchase.
4. Confirm with "Add User" and wait for the categories to load.

On first login, the channel list and TV guide (EPG) data can take a minute or two to fully download; the list may look incomplete until it finishes, so give it a moment. You can install both apps and log in with the same details on both while you decide which interface you prefer. Keep in mind that the standard subscription allows one active connection at a time, so leaving both apps open together can interrupt playback.

After you log in

Common login mistakes

• Wrong login type. Entering Xtream details while "M3U Playlist" is selected is the most common mistake; make sure the type field is set to "Xtream Codes".
• Incomplete server address. Leaving out the http:// prefix stops the connection from working; enter the address exactly as sent, without adding or removing anything.
• A trailing space from copy-paste. Pasted text can carry an invisible space at the end; typing the details manually removes it.
• Case sensitivity. Both username and password are case-sensitive.
• Empty channel list. Clear the app's cache and refresh the list; the standard subscription allows one active connection, so the list may not load if the app is still open on another device.
• Picture keeps freezing. This is usually about the connection rather than the login itself; see our buffering fix guide for what to check.
